Glenn N. "Nick" Thiel was the successful Penn State men's lacrosse coach from 1935 to 1956. His overall record was 87-110. He served as the secretary-treasurer of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) and received its Man-of-the-Year award in 1945 and 1947. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1966. Glenn F. Thiel was a midfielder on the Penn State lacrosse team from 1964 to 1966, and served as co-captain his senior year. He began his coachin...
